Hello! It’s the start of another Creative Fingers Challenge and I’m back as sponsor. Woo hoo!
For my inspiration. I’ve used my It’s Christmas Topper sheet (cup1167808_100289) and rather than just trimming around the Rectangle edge of the original base layer, I’ve cut it using the Phil Martin Charmed Ovals Die Set. I also cut a silver frame from textured silver cardstock using the largest die from the same set.
For the background, I cut a piece of white cardstock to 4.75″×6.75″ and ran it through my Sizzix Switch in the Sue Wilson Shimmering Stars Embossing Folder. I just glued it directly onto the card base before adding the silver frame and the die cut oval topper base layer.
I also used the Phil Martin Charmed Ovals Die Set to cut out one of the sentiments and a matching sliver frame. I then used some 1mm thick foam tape to add the assembled oval to the bottom of the card base. I finished off with a small punched circle in each corner as faux brads. This card will be going through the post so adding brads that size could potentially cause damage to my creation as it goes through the sorting machines. It’s just safer to keep things as flat as possible, especially at that time of year.
I hope you stop by the challenge for your chance to win three of my sets or you can check out my product page over on craftsÜprint. There’s a whole heap of new additions for both Halloween and Christmas. Thanks so much for spending time with me today, I look forward to next time! 😊
