Hello! The June A Perfect Time To Craft Challenge is now open with Dr Digi and Stampers Delights joining us as sponsors.
For my inspiration, I’ve used Dr. Digi’s BBQ Bill image to create a simple card that still has a wow factor. I started by printing the image, adding a greeting and a cheeky saying so everything fit into a 4.25″×6.25″ workspace. I coloured the image with alcohol markers and cut the image, and a matching frame from kraft card, using a 5″×7″ old lattice frame die set that fits perfectly over a card base. A set like this is just so functional and I love how it suits both male and female cards. I used it in this card in 2020 and, as you can see, that die makes feminine card look just as good as this one does. To finish off, I simply glued the two layers to a 5″×7″ card base.
