Hello! Another Creative Fingers Challenge has just started and, for my inspiration, I’ve created a solely die cut slimline card, using just plain white cardstockand gold mirror board.
I decided to create the front on a separate piece of die cut cardstock, rather than just adding my feature pieces directly onto the card base. I love how the white on white background panel gives an otherwise plain background a more finished, framed look. I cut that piece using a Die from The Ton’s Pierced Nested Die Set.
The other dies I used to create the feature were:
- Configurations Lattice Arch Adornment Die (CED6302) by Creative Expressions (retired)
- Dee’s Distinctively Dies Classic Candle Set (SKU: IME192). I chose to use textured cardstock to cut the candlesticks.
- I cut the pine cones using IO Stamps’ Pinecone Sprig Cluster Die Set and
- foliage using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Pine Cone Die Set.
After cutting all the pieces out, all I needed to do was glue everything in place and add a peel off sentiment to complete the card. I love how die cutting mirror board can create such an elegant card so easily. Thanks so much for spending time with me today, I look forward to next time. 😊
