Hello! The August A Perfect Time To Craft Challenge has just opened and this month, we’re joined by CraftsÜprint as our sponsor. I’ve even thrown in a few of my CraftsÜprint kits as prizes this month.
For my inspiration, I chose to make up one of my own kits, the Magnolia Dreaming Outline Topper, cup1163036_100289. This set comes with two sheets but the card front can be made by printing just the one sheet.
I printed the background layer onto the right side of a sheet of cardstock so all I needed to do was fold the cardstock in half and trim the excess from around the edges. This gave the appearance that I’d printed directly onto a card base.
Next, I printed the second layer onto more cardstock and coloured the magnolias with Prismacolor pencils, blended with Gamsol. I then fussy cut around the outer edges and glued it onto my card base with foam tape and added some mauve pearls.
