Hello, and Merry Christmas! Each year Creative Fingers Challenge says thank you to their sponsors in a Christmas Day post and, this year, I’m saying thanks using Michelle Tracey Art’s Sienna And The Deer Rejoice Rejoice Christmas image.

I used the advanced image supplied in this set, rather than the beginner’s image. I like to use lots of colour in my greyscale images, rather than just rely on the greyscale shadings. I find colouring greyscale images as I usually would colour any regular image gives such a great result. The greyscale shading really enhances all the work I put into my colouring. I printed the image onto X-Press It blending cardstock and coloured the piece with my Chameleon alcohol markers.

Once complete, I used the Tattered Lace So Chic Die Set to cut the image and the white lace border. I then cut a dark blue and a white piece of cardstock using the outermost die to create a shaped, hinged card base. I glued all the pieces together and finished off with a silver peel off sentiment. I also decided to add small leftover peel off sticker pieces into the larger diamonds for a little extra shine. I think the peel off stickers add a touch of bling while still allowing the card design to remain elegant.

I hope your holiday season is both festive and safe, and I hope to be back with more interesting creations in 2020. Thanks so much for spending time with me today, I look forward to next time! 😊
